19When an explosion that causes damage to a boiler or pressure vessel occurs in connection with a boiler or pressure vessel, the owner or operator of the boiler or pressure vessel shall report it immediately to the Chief Inspector by telephone or telegraph, and, within 24Â hours after its occurrence, shall send a report on it by mail to the Chief Inspector, stating the exact place at which the explosion occurred, the number of persons, if any, killed or injured by it and any other information required by the regulations.
